Kathy’s Fudge

1 - 12 ounce package chocolate chips plus part of a second package (up to 18 ounces)
1 - 14 ounce can of Eagle Brand Sweetened Condenses Milk (not evaporated milk)
Up to 1 cup of nuts (toasting the nuts in the microwave makes them crisp)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract plus 1 teaspoon of another extract flavor of your choice.

Microwave:  Combine chocolate chips and condensed milk in a microwave-safe container and cook on high.  Stir until chips melt or return to microwave for extra time.  Stir until mixture is smooth.  Stir in flavorings and your choice of nuts, coconut, raisins, rice crispies, etc. Spread evenly into wax paper-lined 8 or 9 inch square pan.  Chill 2 hours or until firm.  Turn fudge onto cutting board, peel off wax paper and cut into squares.  Store loosely covered at room temperature.
